This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Loon River First Nation has rescinded its Evacuation Order.
Loon River First Nation has rescinded the Evacuation Order due to the Red Earth Complex Fire, as the fire poses no immediate threat to residents, at this time. However, a 2 hour Evacuation Alert remains in place for all those in the vicinity of the fire, and residents should remain prepared should conditions change.
All residents are able to return to the community starting 8:00 am June 25, 2025. Only the main access is available and all residents must check in at the check point. Please follow directions of local authorities and watch for updates on the community social media.
