Description

At 528 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles northeast of Lake Marvin to 5 miles northwest of Miami to 3 miles north of Sanford. Movement was south at 30 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Pampa, Borger, Canadian, Miami, Fritch, Stinnett, Briscoe, Wheeler, White Deer, Lefors, Skellytown, Sanford, New Mobeetie, Allison, Glazier, Lake Marvin, Kellerville, Pringle, Lora, and Kingsmill.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
