At 608 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles northwest of Twitty to 7 miles south of Kingsmill to 11 miles northwest of Panhandle. Movement was south at 40 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Amarillo, Pampa, Borger, Panhandle, Clarendon, Claude, Miami, Fritch, Briscoe, Wheeler, White Deer, Mclean, Groom, Lefors, Skellytown, Howardwick, Hedley, Sanford, Lelia Lake, and Lake Mcclellan.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
