Publié par : National Weather Service
Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher and Tom Green.
When: Until 10 PM CDT this evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Additional Details: - Areas of showers and thunderstorms will continue across portions of West Central Texas through sunset. These storms will produce pockets of very heavy rainfall, with an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain possible in a few locations in a short amount of time. With soils already saturated, this additional rain will quickly run off into creeks and streams and may produce areas of flooding. Most of the showers and storms are forecasted to dissipate after sunset. However, additional storms are possible on Monday and a new Flood Watch for a portion of the area may be required. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
