Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - The remnants of Tropical Depression Chantal will bring widespread showers and embedded storms across central North Carolina through early Monday. Storm total rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally 4 or more inches possible, with the highest totals likely to be in the Piedmont and western Sandhills, along and west of US Highway 1.
