Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of north central North Carolina, including the following county, Caswell and Virginia, including the following counties, Appomattox, Campbell, Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania.
When: Until 9 AM EDT this morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - The remnants of Chantal continue to drop heavy rain across parts of the area, and a flood threat continues until it moves out of the area later this morning. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
